I’m Liz and I’m a freelance writer and editor living in Leeds, United Kingdom.
I was diagnosed with coeliac disease as an adult in 2011. I’ve always loved food and cooking, and going gluten-free if anything made me more of an avid foodie, since I’ve had to be that much more creative about cooking and baking. I started blogging in order to contribute to the coeliac community, share recipes, tips, and experiences, and discuss life with coeliac disease and all its ups and downs, but I’m also now writing for www.Neeach.com, an exciting new food lovers’ social network, which has further cemented my passion for great food and drink.
I feel strongly that restaurants and chefs should be positive about gluten free cuisine and embrace the challenges and respond creatively. After all, that’s what we coeliacs have to do every day!
